Antenatal Clinic

We provide shared antenatal care with appointments at our Practice throughout pregnancy working with the Stockwell Team of Midwives from St Thomas’ Hospital who will also provide their postnatal care.

You can be referred either by your GP or complete a self-referral:

During normal antenatal care first time mothers will get 10 clinic reviews and 2 scans arranged at the Hospital. These will be discussed at the initial  booking appointment.

We encourage and provide recommended vaccination during pregnancy which protect against influenza and whooping cough.

 

At each appointment as well as a physcial examination, a urine sample will be checked so please collect a container from reception.

 

For any emergencies during pregnancy, St Thomas’ Hospital have an emergency department on the 8th Floor North Wing.
